Dr. Reena George, Assistant Professor at Amity University Dubai, has over 15 years of corporate experience in the tourism industry. She holds a Doctorate in Travel and Tourism and is the author of KONMAL, a comprehensive guide to tourist attractions on the western coastal belt of India.
She has worked with well-known brands such as KUONI, Makemytrip, and Akbar Travels, managing various verticals of holiday products.
As a certified in-country expert and proficient in OTA tools, Dr. George is well-equipped to illustrate tourism product scaling with real market trends and practical job requirements. Her teaching style is a holistic approach that combines authoritative, delegative, facilitative, and demonstrative styles, making her an effective educator.
Dr. George's research interests lie in tourism products, and she has visited over 12 countries to attend FAM meetings and conferences related to tourism products. Before joining Amity University Dubai, she worked as a Processing Officer and Holiday Manager.
