DRAW102 Anatomical Drawing – I
Objective of the course
is to prepare the student to draw anatomically correct structures of the
human body. Students will learn to draw the human figure in correct
anatomic detail based on the observation of live models. This course
will emphasize the anatomically correct proportions of the human body
and the accurate portrayal of muscles and other landmarks by applying
various techniques of shading and lighting, views and perspective.
ANIM104 Visual Communication – I
The
objective of the course is to focus on the usage of the digital media.
The course lay emphasis on the basics of designing software’s to ensure
that the students are updated with the technological aspect of the
industry.
ANIM111 Design for Animation – I
Learning
Design is to understand the basic visual language and various methods of
form synthesis. It is to develop intellectual and imaginative abilities
in creative thinking. It is to provide technical know-how about the
principles of design, distribution of space, proportion, behavior of
force and energy contained in lines, form and colour. Organized design
exercises in different media offer a wide range of opportunity to
develop systematic and intuitive approaches to creative work.
DRAW104 Geometrical Drawing and Perspective – I
Introduction
to orthographic projections in simple positions, drawing of plan,
elevation and section of simple objects to scale, full size, reduced or
enlarged.
DRAW111 Drawing – I
Objective of the course
is to understand the basic element of learning art. Drawing exercises
are to acquire accurate sense of observation and skills to present
representational art.
EVS103 Environmental Studies – I
The
goal of this course is to provide students with the scientific
background needed to understand how the Earth works and how we, as human
beings, fit into that. At the end of the course, it is expected that
students will be able to identify and analyze environmental problems as
well as the risks associated with these problems and understand what it
is to be a steward in the environment, studying how to live their lives
in a more sustainable manner.
PNTG101 Sculpture I
This
course is to obtain skill of making sculpture, creating three
dimensional images with basic techniques and materials. Learning to make
sculpture in clay modelling. Learning of moulding and casting
techniques in plaster of Paris and colour processing. This exercise
provides to understand three dimensional forms through creating volume
of three dimensional artwork.
PNTG104 Painting – I
The
objective of this course is to acquire experience to explore painting
techniques. Structured exercises on painting include basic colour theory
and pictorial composition, which enables students to be confident in
use and manipulation of colour. It also provides a clear idea of
different painting techniques. Like water colour and opaque colour .
PNTG111 History of Art – I
The
objective of teaching history of art is to acquaint the students with
art and artists through the ages and to increase their visual vocabulary
manifold along with a brief insight into the inter-relationship between
various kinds of arts and the impact of socio-cultural factors on them.
The idea is to make them see Art not as an exclusive phenomenon but
rather a well connected and important facet of any civilization.
PNTG115 Print Making – I
This
hands-on course is to introduce basic techniques in surface printing in
one and more colors. It is to learn and experience simple methods of
making printing lino cut technique.
Communication Skills
This
course is aimed to equip students with effective oral and written
communication. Students will learn some theoretical inputs into the
process of communication and its different types, and presentation
skills. Help students in developing communication strategies to
communicate effectively to diverse audience and platforms.

DRAW121 Anatomical Drawing - II
This
course is dedicated in large part to the drawing and representation of
the skeletal structure and musculature of the human body in detail.
Students will learn the anatomical names of the skeletal elements,
landmarks and muscle groups. Students will learn how to draw the
structures of the human skeleton and then add the surface muscle groups
and features appropriate to the skeletal substructure. The course will
also explore the differences in the portrayal of male and female
musculoskeletal features. Students will also be introduced to drawing
animal forms and animal surface coverings.
ANIM135 Design for Animation - II
Students
will understand the potential of designs and exercise to develop
spontaneity in creative thinking executing a meaningful design acentric
to animation course which will focus on developing skills of creating
simple cartoons, stick compositions etc.
ANIM141 Visual Communication - II
The
objective of the course is to focus the software’s which are the core
of every artist. The course lay emphasis on the basics of designing
software’s to ensure that the students are updated with the
technological aspect of the industry.
DRAW112 Drawing - II
The
objective of this course is to learn accurate observation and skills to
represent work of art from life or surroundings through drawing
techniques.
DRAW113 Geometrical Drawing and Perspective - II
Objective
of the course is to provide adequate knowledge on visual illusion
depending upon the distance and point of view. It makes the learners
well-equipped in measurement and scaling system related to visual art.
EVS102 Environmental Studies - II
The
goal of this course is to provide students basic knowledge of
environment and their role in life sustenance. The students are expected
to identify and analyze environmental problems as well as the risks
associated with them.
PNTG124 Print Making - II
To
introduce more techniques of surface printing in one and more colours,
creating blocks with cardboard, plywood, or linoleum. experimental
printing with other materials.
PNTG185 Sculpture II
This
course is to create three-dimensional sculpture in plaster of Paris
through moulding and casting techniques and processing of colouring.
This exercise provides to understand three dimensional forms through
creating volume of three-dimensional art works. Displaying skill
development as to place sculpture on appropriate pedestal.
PNTG132 History of Art - II
