Dr. Kajol Bhati is a forensic science professional with over nine years of combined experience in teaching, research, and industry. She holds a Ph.D. in Forensic Science specialising in fingerprints and nanoparticles, an M.Phil. in Anthropology, an M.Sc. in Forensic Science with specialisation in Forensic Biology, Serology, and DNA Profiling. 


Her academic and professional achievements include qualifying the UGC-NET for Lectureship in Forensic Sciences, receiving a Fellowship during her M.Phil., securing first position in Poster Presentation at the All-India Forensic Science Meet, and winning the 2nd Research and Innovation Award at Galgotias University, Inida. With more than 20 research papers published in reputed journals (including SCI and Scopus indexed), five book chapters, and six patents filed, Dr. Bhati has made significant contributions to forensic science research. 


She is actively engaged in professional communities, being a Member of the Royal Society of Biology (UK), the International Society of Forensic Genetics (Germany), and a Life Member of the Society for Materials Chemistry (BARC, Mumbai). She has served as invited faculty at the Central Detective Training Institute (CDTI), Ghaziabad, India, training law enforcement officials, and has been a resource person and invited speaker at various national and international forums and also played a role of reviewer in many journals.


Her research interests span across diverse domains of forensic science, including fingerprints, forensic serology, DNA profiling, forensic anthropology, crime scene investigation, and applications of nanoparticles.
